One of the city’s greatest events, the New York City Marathon is back in 2021 after a pandemic hiatus. Here’s how TCS connected people all around the world and enhanced the running experience with its feature-rich marathon app.
TCS NYC Marathon
Watch how TCS brought 33,000 runners together to run the 2021 New York City Marathon using innovation to take the collective experience up a notch.
Sports unites people, and few events do it better than the TCS New York City Marathon. The city’s greatest marathon reinforced our belief that ‘no one gets there alone’. As Surya Kant, Chairman, North America, put it, “We believe that you can do anything, and with every step you take, you’re building on that belief.”
The marathon app, developed and designed by TCS, saw 33,000 runners engage and enhance their experience as they pushed themselves to finish-line glory at the 50th TCS NYC Marathon. The app brought together the virtual and in-person racing experience under one platform. With features such as real-time runner tracking, spectator guide, and interactive course maps, it even allowed participants to take selfies and download virtual medals.
